Welcome...

to my website and the home of the Church Health Fellowship.

Leading a healthy church basically comes down to balancing two things: doing what God wants us to do (destination or mission) and being what God wants us to be along the way (the journey or process). Many organisations, churches, families get frustrated that their destination cannot be reached because they constantly come to grief in the journey - something happens in relationships that sabotages the task. In an increasing number of groups, it has become systemic, chronic and they can’t see their way out of the maze.

Much of the current church health literature concentrates on getting the right balance of activities in place. But pastors are discovering that there is often a deeper undercurrent of emotional reactivity flowing which charts the course of their congregations. And it is a very powerful force.

CHF aims to provide a platform for understanding the relational system under the surface in churches. CHF aims to provide some diagnostic  and prescriptive resources to help churches and their leaders improve their relational functioning and de-grief their life together.

I hope you find it a help. To get started, just click here on CHF or in the menu bar.

Grace and peace.
